In house custom fabricated track spec exhaust on this R33 gtst last week,
should mean no more problems with noise restrictions on track.
Unichip Europe's latest install is on this Lotus Elise S2, it has just been fitted with the Unichip Q which has enabled us to custom tune the vehicle on the dyno for the modification that have been done to it taking it from the stock 120 bhp up to 146 bhp.
This modified Vauxhall astra has had some extensive modifications, the 1.6 engine has had a turbo conversion done to it along with supporting modifications such as 5th injector, full custom exhaust system, induction kit, and front mount intercooler.
Obviously the stock engine management alone is not able to cope with these modifications however with the Unichip Q+ installed along with a turbo module it allows us to custom tune the vehicle for all the modification that have been done, this 1.6 turbo astra now puts out 180bhp.
The latest vehicle we have had in this week at Unichip Europe is this iconic Mk 1 Ford Focus RS, this has been fitted with the Unichip Q+ which has allowed us to live map the vehicle for the custom modifications that have been fitted complete with in car switchable high, low boost switch.

Obviously car crime & theft is at the moment at an all time high, technology has moved on with manufacturers making cars security systems even more complicated. WOW!!!! We just love these Lancia Deltas here at Redline Tuning, to see them on the road is extremely rare, we were luckily enough to have not 1 but 2 of these amazing iconic Deltas in within the past week both on the rolling road for check overs.
Our latest car we have had in here at Unichip Europe is the Subaru Forester STI. This customer opted for the Unichip Q4 which once installed allowed us to custom tune the vehicle and make nearly 30% power gain on a virtually stock vehicle. We made use of the 5 user selectable map options setting up the vehicle, with high boost with throttle booster, low boost, economy, immobiliser & pops, bangs and overrun maps. We had the pleasure of getting this classic 1600 MGA in and on the rollers today for a tune up, lovely car in lovely condition.
This is the 2nd Nissan Skyline R32 GTR that we have had in from RK Tuning this week for another Link G4+ ECU install and calibration, should definitely make this track based R32 more reliable and usable.
We had this very clean very stock looking Nissan Skyline R32 GTR dropped of to us from RK Tuning earlier in the week for a new Link G4+ ECU upgrade. We removed the old F-CON ECU and fitted the LINK plug in G4+ board, once fitted we got it on the rollers, strapped it down and calibrated the car for the new ECU. It made a nice usable 522 bhp plenty enough for everyday driving, we made use of the features of the ECU by calibrating closed loop boost and knock control.

Here at Unichip Europe no day is the same due to the Unichip being totally universal we never quite know what we are going to be tuning next. This week is no exception, this customer had made some pretty extensive modifications to this legendary Mk3 Toyota Supra twin turbo and the next step was to find a cost effective way of tuning the 1JZ engine, and the Unichip was the way to go.
Once installed we were able to tune the vehicle for the modifications that had been made, single turbo conversion, inter cooler, exhaust and intake. Now its running great, once the fuelling upgrades have been done we can try and get some power out of this beast, hope to see it back soon.

We've been rather quiet on social media the last few weeks mainly due to being so busy in the workshop here at Redline Tuning.We had this FN2 Type R in for full timing chain replacement, valve clearance check over, new rocker cover and fixings while we were there, (on a job like this its always nice being supplied with all new genuine parts!) while we were there we fitted new camber bolts and did the suspension geometry on it.

Nice to have this rare Nissan Skyline R33 GTR Tommy Kaira R back in yesterday from RK Tuning for a dyno run and check over, haven't seen the car for a number of years since mapping it, glad to see its still running well.

Came into the workshop end of last week and suddenly realised that we had been infested by Fords. Usually we are surrounded by the Japanese market but for the last few weeks we have had in a fair amount of Fords. Paul's Escort Cosworth Race Car in for some on going repairs and race preparation, Daves 400 bhp turboed Puma in for gearbox and driveshafts issues, Toms 3 door Sierra Cosworth complete new build race car back in to finish of the calibration on the new Link G4+ ECU and Dash, Russell Lords MK2 Escort Rally Car in for major over hall and rebuild having some seriously cool bits installed, Another suburb example of a totally original Sierra Cosworth in for its annual MOT and check over, Classic 1050's Ford F1 pickup in for engine overhaul and out of site we have a more modern Ford Focus ST on the dyno in for tuning.
We nearly forgot about this one, Ben has his car dropped to us in 2018 with a number of problems, the main one being the car wouldnt run, after a number of issues were addressed we managed to get the car runing, along with another number of jobs. However the car wasnt running how it should and Ben decided it was time to have a much needed change, we advised him to go with the Link G4+ monsoon ECU along with our custom wiring loom, TPS sensor kit with fuel/oil pressure sensors to prevent possible future engine failures, once up and running were able to calibrate the ECU and get the best from the engine.
Another one of our pocket rockets that we look after is Josh with his 4efte powered ep70, this was in last week for a new custom intercooler and oil cooler set up along with new custom side exit exhaust a larger set of injectors and then back onto the rollers for a spot of tuning on the Link G4+ ECU we installed last year, this is now certainly going to be surprising a few more people now that its running 290bhp.

Well it finally made it!!!!! As all of our followers and customers know we Redline Tuning work on and tune a lot of skylines that come in all shapes and sizes. We have have seen Serks R32 Skyline change over the last 5 years we have been tuning it and it is a great example, the spec of this car is to big to list anything and everything that the car has needed it has had no expense spared and the quality of the work that Serk has gone to on it is 2nd to none and last week it all paid of for him making well over 1000bhp, im not sure who was happier Serk or Rich! and the fact that this car is fully road legal as well is just crazy!
Can we see how many likes we get for this amazing 1000bhp project.
Having not seen one of our good customers for some time since we completed the forged engine build and tuning on his pocket rocket 2.0 Z20 LET powered Corsa he has since decided to go for more of a track orientated build, after doing a couple of track days he said he was dreadful and had no confidence in the car at all. So we carried out full corner weighting set up and 4 wheel alignment, ran through a few set ups to try. We heard back from him a few days later and he was overjoyed with the improvement and now felt confident to put the car round the track at some pace.
We have had this awesome R33 GTR Drag car in for a few jobs and just finished off the in house custom fabrication for a double 3" oval side exit drag style exhaust system mainly due to it restricting the cars engine performance, once on we strapped it on the dyno to check and its now pushing an easy 950bhp, hopefully we will have this car back in soon for further work ECU upgrade and some tuning so we can easily smash 1000bhp and see what it can really do.

Check out the latest development at Unichip Europe. The Porsche 997 is a very fast car in stock form, however now with the installation of the Unichip Q4 it has now been able to be tuned to a much higher standard with switchable maps, high power 640bhp, overrun, economy and immobiliser maps all at the press of a button.
A change from the usual big powered GTR's we usually have in here at Redline Tuning, this time we had a R33 GTS in here for tuning on Link G4+ECU, fresh from having its engine rebuilt from Jap Performance Parts. Once we got a fews bits of wiring sorted on the car we got it onto the rollers and strapped down, it made very usable and might i add tail happy 530 bhp at just over 1.4 bar, should keep the customer happy for a while.
We had Dean bring his Glanza to us last week he had been suffering with a few issues and the car was not running properly mainly due to the TPS and wiring being faulty, We fitted it with our new TPS kit that we have developed here in house to work with standalone ECU which will be available to buy very soon, once this was rectified and a few other problems sorted out we managed to get it on the rollers and do some mapping, look forward to seeing the car back soon so we can run some boost and see what figures it makes.
Stunning!!! after having had Russel's absolutely immaculate Mk1 escort in here for quite some time having a number of different jobs completed it was finally able to leave under its own steam, what a cracking car, can we see how many likes we can get for this amazing restored Mk1 escort, which is probably in better condition now than when it left the factory all those years ago.
Absolutely brilliant, cant wait to see it when its all painted and looking 100%, this 105E Van came to us running with its 2.0 conversion done on web-con management however it was not nice to drive, the customer didn't want to spend a fortune on an ECU for this so we decided to replace the Webcon for a Motorsport Electronics NODIZ Pro, once fitted and set up the van drove brilliant, you would never have known you were driving a car from the 1960's absolutely brilliant.
Classic E-Type Jaguar in a few weeks back for a setup on the dyno, making a strong 300 bhp should go well now.

First Unichip Plug & Play Unichip install completed on this Alfa Romeo Mito QV, this is a completely plug and play kit that has been developed for this vehicle we had set up 5 different maps including immobiliser map setting, this kit is availiable to purchase and will plug straight into your vehicle. we had very impressive gains bringing the overall bhp to 217 with only and induction kit and rear exhaust box delete.
BMW 335i Twin turbo in here this week for development on Dastec Unichip Q4, some massive gains had taking it up to 390bhp with only a few modifications, as well as the unichip letting us live map the car some of the features we have enabled are 5 user selectable maps including pops, crackles and flaming over run. 15mph anti hi jack map, high & low boost switchable settings.

Absolutely stunning Bentley Continental GTC fitted with the superb 6.0 twin turbo W12 engine in here at Redline Tuning for a service and check over. Here at Redline we are very used to cars of this power and more however not usually with the comfort level this has!
We had this cracking high spec Evo 9 in yesterday at Redline Tuning for some dyno work. Customer wasn’t 100% sure he was getting the most out of the car with the current setup on it and had a few drivability issues. We put the car on to the dyno to see what it was making. We saw that there was some improvements to be had from the car so we set about retuning the car, making nearly a 100bhp increase it was now a totally different animal now with just over 600bhp and 600ftlb it pulls hard, we also set up the launch control and another tablet to display all the data and dash display from the Link G4 ECU. Hopefully the customer is now pleased with the performance of the car.
One of my personal favourites this car! One of our regular customers who owns this absolutely stunning Subaru classic WRX decided he wanted to try and get a little bit more usable power out of the car, it already pulled strong but wanted a little more, we opted to go for the blouch (BPT) SC38 hybrid turbo, fitted along with some larger injectors and while we were there the heat wrap was looking rather tired so rewrapped the exhaust system for the customer. The results were amazing and the customer could not believe how much harder the car pulled mid range.

Customer recently purchased this Discovery 3 and wanted us just to check over a few things as he wasn’t sure on what he had bought, he informed us that the previous owner had advised him to replace one of the lower arm camber bolts as it was cross threaded.
Well what we found we were rather shocked by, someone had fitted a set of Polybushes and decided they would leave out the aluminium insert that sits in the bush out, and just do the bolt up as tight as they could deforming the mount and then bottoming out the nut on the thread damaging the thread. Well after speaking to Powerflex and getting a new kit we had to rectify the damaged mounts so the bushes would fit in and we fitted the new bushes “with” the aluminium insert, complete with new camber arm bolts and wheel alignment.
You have got to love this Classic 55 Chevrolet pick up truck that we have had in here at Redline Tuning due to poor running.
Fault was traced to old corroded damaged fuel line, and after a new filter, we put her onto the dyno to check over and adjust the setup. She now purrs like a kitten, or roars like a tiger which ever way you look at it she sounds great!
We had this 350Z in a last week for tuning, customer had done a few performance upgrades, so we put it on the dyno and ran the vehicle, it wasn't making the power it should have there was something restricting the car, the supposed uprated intake manifold was found to be the cause of the power loss! the stock intake was put back on and were back making the power we should be, be careful what products you put on your car people as what we are finding more and more is these supposed uprated performance parts are actually worse than standard. This was tested back to back and the only change was the intake manifold over 20bhp.
A little rarer than the usual R32 GTR's we have in here at Redline Tuning, we had a RB20 in a few weeks ago for calibration on Link G4 ECU following new turbo installation.
